Waterproof gloves by Biking Brotherhood Gears :

– A very useful and interesting feature mention at the end.

It has been little over 5 months after my purchase of Biking brotherhood waterproof touring gloves. I bought these after I lost my BBG leather gloves on my Mumbai – Kotagiri ride just before the actual monsoons.

This was a perfect time for this purchase as I was in need of gloves and it was monsoons on the verge.

I had ordered this before the start of my ride but due to stock unavailability, received somewhat late.

The construction of these felt sturdy at the first look itself. I got to try these out in the rains on a short Ride to Nashik and later Malshej and other neighbouring places from Mumbai

The feel was good and the grip feedback eventually got better. Being waterproof and winter touring gloves, these are thick and well insulated.

Knuckles have Carbon Kevlar along with protection and extra rubber padding for the fingers. The presence of accordion panel allow better movement of the fingers and the wrist.

There is an adjustable wrist strap for a better fit of the gloves. The protection on the palm is a good silicone patch by BBG along with Amara for a firm handle grip.

The inner lining feels soft and comfortable. To add-on to the features, it has touchscreen on the thumb and Index finger on both the hands.

These are full gauntlet gloves i.e. you have protection from the cold air and water seeping in from the gap between the jacket sleeves and the gloves.

Under heavy rains, water seeped in a little and the gloves were wet in the inside. But there was no water accumulated /dripping as such from inside the gloves. My hands were moist and watery, that’s it. This did not affect the build and construction of the gloves.

A small mention here, it gets damn hot and sweaty under the sun (obvious). So better off with these for summers or a hot afternoon.

Reflective piping is well incorporated into the design. Branding adds to the looks of the gloves and specially the Tourer tag on the pinky finger. There are small hooks to attach them together, making them an inseparable couple.

A very special feature of the gloves, I like the most , is a rubber strip on the left index finger. Very helpful to wipe off the water from the helmet visor , clean !

This is one of the good products from Biking Brotherhood Gears.
